FAQ

  • What if we don't "click"?

Not a problem! At the end of each session, I will ask you for feedback and if something occurred during the session you did not like, please let me know so I can adjust how the session unfolds.

You are also in control of your therapy and can terminate my services a any time. I would ask for feedback but if you do not want to share, no big deal!

  • Are services covered under insurance?

Direct billing is available for those with Blue Cross,

I also offer direct billing to insurance providers who use Telus eClaims. Below is a list of insurance providers who work with Telus.

I can provide detailed receipts and invoices that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You pay the entire cost of the session up front and then submit your receipt to be reimbursed.

If you click on the “Insurance & Rates” tab above, you will find a list of all insurance companies that currently accept direct billing.

  • Consent & Confidentiality

Before a session takes place, I will send an informed consent document that you will sign and send back to me. These documents are electronic so no need to print anything, it can all be done online.

Basically, everything you say in a session is confidential UNLESS you are hurting someone or planning on hurting someone.

I am also required by law to share information if a judge subpoenas my notes or myself.

  • Payment

I accept payment by credit card or e-transfer.

  • Cancelation Policy.

I do not have a cancellation fee policy. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and flexibility is important.

That said, advance notice of cancellations or rescheduling is always appreciated, as it allows me to manage my schedule effectively and offer the time to other clients when possible.
